More than one-third of consumers answering Casual Living’s 2016 exclusive Outdoor Survey have dining sets as the focal point of their outdoor living areas and an additional 28% have seating areas as the focal point. However, more consumers own seating areas than dining sets: 85% have seating areas, while 65% own dining sets.

About the data

Casual Living fielded an online consumer survey this July. The survey, asking about the outdoor spaces in and around their homes, garnered responses from 400 female consumers.
