Gift specialty stores top the list of distribution channels, as has been the case in years past in Gifts and Decorative Accessories’ annual Trends and Forecasts Survey. All gift vendors who responded to this year’s survey reported that they sell through gift stores and 65 percent identify the channel as the fastest-growing for 2018.

Gifts and Decorative Accessories’ exclusive 2018 Trends and Forecasts Survey was fielded in October to gift vendors. Thirty-one percent of responding vendors have sales of less than $1 million. Twenty-seven percent have sales ranging between $1 million to just under $5 million. An additional 38 percent report their annual sales to be between $5 million and $24.9 million and the remaining 4 percent have sales of $25 million or more.
