Mark Kiczalis, Director of Strategic Insights Team, runs both the proprietary and editorial research for Home Furnishings Division of BridgeTower Media. He has an extensive background in developing quantitative and qualitative custom research for some of the largest companies in the world. He started his career developing custom research projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries and then shifted his focus to technology and retail/CPG markets. He enjoys the Home Furnishings Industry and creating actionable intelligence that drives his clients businesses to the next level. In his spare time Mark enjoys anything outdoors including hiking, biking, and playing baseball.
Michael Hurley is a Research Associate for the Strategic Insights Team, and works across all of the Home Furnishings Division of BridgeTower Media’s brands, including Furniture Today and Casual Living. Michael holds a B.A degree in psychology, as well as a Spanish minor, from Appalachian State University. Michael’s interest in research was sparked when he realized statistics is the only math he’s good at. Michael strives to tell stories with data. When not working in the office, Michael can usually be found reading, watching or playing basketball, or taking a highly sought after nap.
