Home & Textiles Beyond the Top 50 Retailers, 2016
Originally published in the September 12, 2016 issue of Home & Textiles Today
Home & Textiles Today’s exclusive report, Beyond the Top 50, reports on the next tier of home textiles retailers. There’s $715 million in home textiles retail sales generated by the retailers who don’t rank in among the majors in the industry.
Some of them just missed Top 50 status in H&TT’s annual Top 50 Retail Giants report, which appeared in our August issue. Others are niche players who don’t aspire to the part.
This year, H&TT is sharing the run-down on the retailers whose sales were estimated by our research department as it put together the Top 50 pool. They coulda been contenders.
We’ve thrown in a few others — without estimates — because they’re already chipping away at market share in the home textiles space. Though some carry home textiles as an afterthought, like hard discounter Aldi, others are certainly interested in growing their home presence in the U.S. market, like Anthropologie and H&M.
