Grill sales across the United States are projected to grow from $2.7 billion in 2016 to $3.3 billion in 2021, an increase of 22.3%, according to the latest data from Casual Living and Easy Analytic Software Inc. North Dakota and the District of Columbia will be the fastest growing states for grill sales, as both are slated for a 24.1% increase, which is almost 2% higher than the national average of 22.3%. This growth will translate to an increase from $7 million to $8.8 million in sales in North Dakota, which leads the Midwest in population growth, with a projected population increase of 4.3% by 2021. In the same five-year period, the District of Columbia will experience a grill sales increase from $7 million to $8.7 million.
