The bedding industry will record modest unit gains this year but will achieve stronger dollar growth in the value of bedding shipments, according to Furniture/Today's Consensus Bedding Forecast. Furniture/Today compiles its bedding forecast by asking CEOs and presidents of bedding producers to share their confidential unit and dollar predictions. Then it weights those predictions based on the market share enjoyed by the respondents, and averages the figures to arrive at its forecast numbers.
