Furniture imports grew 2.5% last year, far below the upper-single and low double-digit growth seen in other recent years, but an uptick from the meager growth seen in 2016. Shipments from overseas manufacturers to the U.S. market last year totaled $24.7 billion, up from $24.1 billion in 2016.
