Perhaps it’s no surprise that the big change this year to Furniture Today’s Top 25 ranking of furniture and bedding retailers comes courtesy of the online channel and a giant called Amazon. Combined estimated 2017 furniture and bedding sales for the 25 companies on this year’s list topped the $40 billion mark for the first time, coming in at $43.1 billion, up 10.3% from the year before for the same companies.

About the numbers

This exclusive survey ranks the Top 25 Bedding Retailers based on estimated 2017 sales of conventional mattresses and boxsprings, as well as foam bedding, futons, air beds, adjustable beds and waterbeds. Estimated figures do not include sales of headboards, frames, mattress pads, pillows and other related products.
