 The primary color theme for 72% of American homes is neutral. A bright color scheme is used by 14%. That’s part of the findings from the more than 1,300 consumers answering questions about home design for Furniture Today’s 2017 exclusive research.

About the data

Furniture Today fielded an online consumer survey about home decorating to 1,368 respondents, including 440 Millennials, 484 Generation X and 434 Baby Boomers, in March 2017. Significance is reported at the 95% confidence level. This research was conducted by PBM Strategic Insights.
