The District of Columbia led all states in 2018 by a wide margin in per capita spending on selected home accents, which includes area rugs, lamps and wall décor, at $78.31. New Hampshire ($68.80), Connecticut ($68.58), and Massachusetts ($68.23) were the next leading states in terms of per capita spending on selected home accents.
