At 45%, less than half of casual designers predicted 2016 revenues for outdoor spaces would be higher than 2015. Forty-seven percent reported this year’s revenues would be about the same as 2015. Those were some of the findings from Casual Living’s exclusive 2016 Casual Designer Survey. In the 2015 survey, 96% of designers predicted revenues would be about the same or higher than in 2014. The sluggish economy and the uncertainty that coincides with an election year tends to cause businesses and consumers to be cautious.
