Bedding is this year’s category winner in terms of sales market share within furniture stores. Bedding grew from 16% to 21% of furniture store sales, a 31% increase, in 2017. While bedding’s market share increased, the median amount of lines carried for bedding decreased from four in 2016 to three in 2017, a decrease of 25%.
